WHEN CONNECTIONS FEEL FAR AWAY
You Still Love Each Other. But You Don't Know How to Reach Each Other Anymore.
Most couples don't come to therapy because they've stopped caring. They come because the distance between them has become unbearable, or because small conversations keep turning into landmines.
You might recognize your relationship in these moments.
Beneath all of these struggles is usually a single, urgent question: “Are you still in this with me?”
You don't have to navigate that fear alone.

The Endless Loop
Having the exact same fight about chores, parenting, or time together, with the exact same painful outcome every single time.
The Quiet Distance
Sitting next to each other on the couch, but feeling miles apart, living more like roommates managing a household than partners in love.
Walking on Eggshells
Holding back your real thoughts or feelings because you're afraid of triggering another blowup or causing your partner to shut down and withdraw.
Eroded Trust or Intimacy
Rebuilding after a betrayal, or feeling a heavy loss of physical closeness and emotional safety.

MY ROLE IN THE ROOM
Not taking sides. Making room for both of you.
You deserve a therapist who is fully present, deeply curious, and committed to understanding both of your experiences.
My role isn't to decide who's right or wrong. It's to help each of you feel heard, understood, and able to understand one another in new ways. Together, we'll slow down reactive patterns, strengthen connection, and build the skills needed for a healthier, more fulfilling relationship.
I bring curiosity, not a verdict. We'll pay attention to what happens between you, and to the fears, needs, and protective responses each of you brings into that space.

WHAT RELATIONAL RELIEF LOOKS LIKE
Trade Protection for Real Connection
Healthy relationships aren't built on never having conflict. They are built on knowing how to find each other again when conflict happens.
When we shift the problem from “you vs. me” to “us vs. the pattern,” real relief becomes possible:
01
End the Defensive Cycle
Express what you actually need without turning to criticism, anger, or silent withdrawal.
02
Restored Emotional Safety
Speak openly and know your partner can truly hear you without getting defensive.
03
Deeper Intimacy & Connection
Rebuild genuine warmth, physical closeness, and the laughter that brought you together in the first place.
04
Effective Conflict Resolution
Express what you actually need without turning to criticism, anger, or silent withdrawal.

Understanding isn't agreeing.
It's making room for another world
beside your own.

We tailor our work to address the specific relational dynamics keeping you stuck:
Breaking Recurring Arguments & Communication Loops
Rebuilding Trust After Betrayal or Emotional Distance
Transitioning Through Parenting, Family Stress, or Major Life Changes
Restoring Physical Intimacy & Emotional Closeness
WHAT WE CAN NAVIGATE TOGETHER
Strengthening Already Good Relationships Before Big Milestones
Focused Care for Your Relationship
HOW WE GET THERE
More Than Generic Communication Advice
You don't need another list of “communication rules” to follow. You need a new experience together.
By integrating Imago Relationship Therapy, Intimacy from the Inside Out (IFIO), Internal Family Systems, and Somatic Practices, we slow down the fast-moving moments where conflict takes over.
I help both of you understand the hidden protection mechanisms driving your reactions, creating the conditions for real empathy, deep repair, and lasting change.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Understand the parts of you that criticize, defend, or withdraw. With compassion for what those parts protect, there is more room to respond to your partner differently.
Imago Relationship Therapy
Structured dialogue helps you slow down, listen without defending, and understand your partner's experience. We become curious about the deeper needs beneath recurring conflict.
Brainspotting & Somatic Work
Notice how conflict feels in your body. Grounding, breath, and body awareness can help you stay present and slow down when a conversation begins to feel overwhelming.
Intimacy From the Inside Out (IFIO)
An IFS-informed approach to couples work. We get to know the protective parts that emerge in conflict, so you can speak for your vulnerable places rather than reacting from them.

75-minute virtual sessions
We meet for 75-minute sessions at a rhythm that fits your life, usually weekly or biweekly, so the work has room to deepen without overwhelming it.
INVESTMENT
$250 per session
Time dedicated to understanding both of your experiences.

Out-of-network support
Superbills provided for reimbursement support. Coverage depends on your insurance plan.
EXTENDED OPTIONS
Longer sessions and intensives

RECLAIM YOUR INNER SPACE
How you feel on the inside changes everything on the outside.
The way you relate to yourself quietly dictates everything: how deeply you love, how freely you create, and how heavy daily life feels.
You aren't just looking for coping strategies; you're looking for relief, genuine connection, and the freedom to feel fully alive. Therapy is the bridge between where you are and the richness you know is possible.
01
You deserve to be seen.
03
You deserve to understand yourself with compassion.
02
You deserve relationships where you feel known.
04
You deserve a life that feels like your own.

Long before I became a therapist, I was an artist and educator. Art taught me something profound that still guides my work today: how we look at something changes what becomes possible.
Teaching for over twenty years taught me to pay deep attention... that beneath every defensive reaction is a story, beneath every recurring argument is a longing to be heard, and beneath every person is something vital waiting to emerge.
I don't see you as a problem to be solved. Instead of a rigid formula, I help you slow down and see your life through a new lens... and when how you see your story changes, the heavy patterns holding you back naturally begin to shift.
When I'm not in the therapy room, you'll find me painting, writing, or out in nature. My personal faith is a deep anchor in my life and I warmly welcome clients from all backgrounds, honoring whatever sources of meaning matter to you.
